Dear Sir / Madam,

Enclosed please find my resume for your reference. I look forward to an opportunity of answering any questions you may have regarding my application. I am available for interview at your earliest convenience.

Dear Sir or Madam:

As an enthusiastic MPharm graduate and pre-registration pharmacist at the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, I would like to express my interest in furthering my career in the field of science and healthcare. I would very much appreciate the opportunity to be involved with teams with mutual goals.
I believe that my qualities and experience make me an appropriate candidate for the position. In addition to my strong work ethic and diligent, dedicated character, my global exposure to healthcare in Hong Kong, America and the UK has given me with valuable and transferable skills. My experience in primary and secondary care has fine-tuned my interpersonal, communication and consultation skills, allowing me to build good working relationships with service users and team members alike. My involvement in a government-funded smoking cessation project increased my understanding of how team-based planning of high quality patient-centred care can enhance compliance. Most important to me personally was learning to pay close attention to detail regardless of surrounding pressures. In order to be able to independently dispense at the hospital trust where I trained, I was required to pass an assessment that involved dispensing 150 items and checking 500 items consecutively without a single error. This taught me to work independently, clearly focus my attention and achieve my goals without fail.

Being involved in procurement at two community pharmacies has taught me the essence of health economics. In the process of responding to urgent requests and ensuring the availability of required stock levels, I learned the real importance of cost-effectiveness. My specialist ward-based rotations across medical and surgical wards at the County hospital involved being proactive in highlighting and resolving clinical issues such as interactions, contraindications, dosing errors or issues regarding the patients' responses to treatment. My continual professional development, involvement in treating minor ailments over the counter and attendance at various conferences and training events have all enhanced my ability to perform as a healthcare professional and to provide holistic and inclusive care. Further details are provided in my attached CV.
I am especially interested in working in a professional environment that will allow for me to gain experience in a setting that provides service users with accessible and exceptional services. I look forward to take on new challenges and broaden my knowledge alongside the team.

Thank you for considering my application. If you have any further enquiries or require any further documentation, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,
Yeshmita Buxani
